Tanks for the Memories

I am always on the lookout for other wedding vendors that have unique services to offer. However when I ran into this limo service that runs out of the UK:

I couldn't help but laugh.

These guys seriously need to open up a branch overseas in Minneapolis, if nothing more than to pay them the $600 they want to run it over a car!

I am 60-40 Ninja!

I saw this commercial today on TV and I had to laugh. Amazingly some photographers actually take themselves this seriously!

Image Resizing by Seam Carving

And a Website is Born. FINALLY

Hello Friends!

Well after surviving a much painful learning curve, many designing debacles, and most of all my own laziness I finally have created my website!

As most of you who have attended school with me can attest I have been whining about this for far to long so about a month ago I decided to put my nose to the grindstone and finally build a shell to which I can add content as time goes on. Now every time I hand out a business card I don't have to sound like an idiot and say the web address on it is "coming soon". I wonder what people thought after six months of "coming soon"?

The good news about deciding to build my website myself is that the cost came in at under $100 where as if I had a professional do it I was looking at around $2000, not including updates to content. The bad news is that I had never built a website before and it was an endeavor of mostly trial and error. Ultimately though I have learned a lot and plan to learn even more as I intend to integrate the slideshow and web design technology into my business model to offer unique products to my clients (that sounded slick didn't it?).

So if you want to look around go ahead, I only have a few images on the intro page and about 60 in my wedding portfolio but I will be adding more content in the coming weeks.

Anyway I'd thought I'd leave something for all my fellow photographers to look at. In the future this is how you will resize and crop your photos. It's called Seam Carving. Pretty neat!
